Was Kishou Arima a ghoul?
Kishou Arima, along with other people who come from the Sunlit Garden like him, is actually a half-human and half-ghoul. He was bred by the researchers in the Sunlit Garden to be a powerful soldier.

He achieves that goal when he met Kaneki. Even though he "kills" Kaneki once, Arima becomes a father to him and loves him with all his heart.

Kaneki confirmed his decision once more, and after he stated his understanding, Arima slashed his own throat with Owl. Arima dying in Kaneki's arms.
In reality, however, the "One-Eyed King" is a title passed down from one individual to another. The title was previously held by Kishou Arima, until his suicidal death in his battle with Ken Kaneki. After his death, Kaneki was crowned as the One-Eyed King.
Although Arima is the One-Eyed King, he was never meant to hold the mantle. The true One-Eyed King would be Arima's successor, who managed to surpass and defeat him, thus finally inspiring hope for ghouls.
Kishou Arima is a major antagonist in the Tokyo Ghoul series. He served as the final antagonist of Tokyo Ghoul, and a major antagonist in the first half of the sequel Tokyo Ghoul:re. He also served as the main protagonist of the prequel Tokyo Ghoul Jack, alongside his former partner, Taishi Fura.
Arata Kirishima (霧嶋 新, Kirishima Arata) is the husband of Hikari Kirishima. He is also the father of Touka Kirishima and Ayato Kirishima.
Though he was an infamous CCG investigator that had ended the lives of countless ghouls, Arima was secretly working with Eto to ensure Kaneki became the One-Eyed King all along. Even though he came off as cold and uncaring, he truly did care for Kaneki and was happy that he was able to leave something good behind.
Protagonist Kousei Arima is a piano playing progeny; as he grew up is mother pressured him to play every note perfectly. This led him to be dubbed the 'human metronome'. When he is eleven his mother dies and he suffers a breakdown; no longer able to hear the notes he plays he stops playing the piano.
What did Arima suffer from?
Kousei Arima has actually experienced an extreme form of mental scarring that developed a mental disorder in him called PTSD.
Arima only raised Haise Sasaki. He has no blood relation with Kaneki. After Kaneki lost his memories, he went insane and lost his memories. Seeing his condition, Arima decided to make him a ghoul investigator.

Arima is a destructive demon who seeks vengeance. she was born inside Maeka. Her birth caused Maeka to have depression, sadness, and hatred.
Arima confirmed that he survived and used a spell to bind Yuto. Yuto broke free relatively easily, though it was really a diversion for Arima to use a spell to remove the barrier Yuto placed around Benio. Then, Arima took Rokuro and Benio through the gate he used to appear, to escape to the real world.
But of course, after their battle Kaneki realises that Arima did love him after all. He raised him the only way he knew how to rear a child after his loveless childhood in the Sunlit Garden, and the only way he could create a warrior capable of destroying the system responsible for his tragic existence.
Kaneki is the first known artificial one-eyed ghoul. His unique half ghoul state is what later inspires the idea of the Quinx. After joining Anteiku as a part-time waiter, he learns how to live as a ghoul and eventually becomes known as Eyepatch (眼帯, Gantai).
She is the infamous One-Eyed Owl who killed Kureo Mado's wife and Akira's mother. Her human identity is Sen Takatsuki (高槻 泉, Takatsuki Sen), a best-selling horror novelist mentioned throughout the series which both Ken Kaneki and Rize Kamishiro are fans of and whose books they have read.
Dominating the black market was Rufus Cantrell. Having been a driver, porter, clerk, and even an undertaker, in 1902, he added a new title: The King of Ghouls. He, along with approximately seven other men, ran one of the most successful body-snatching syndicates in the city.
Arima is one of the world's best fighters around, and though he did not lead the Aogiri personally, he is definitely their strongest ever member.
Eto Yoshimura and Ichika Kaneki are the only confirmed natural-born half-ghouls. Naturally born one eyed ghouls, have shown capable of eating human food unlike their artificially made counterparts.

Early life. Rize was one of Tsuneyoshi Washuu's children who fathered branch members were realaves include Rize's mother. She and half brother Souta Washuu-Furuta grew up in Sunlit Garden, a facility which raised half-humans include their brother Kishou Arima to become Ghoul Investigators.
At an unspecified point, Kishou Arima defeated Eto at her shrine hideout single-handedly. Rather than killing her straight away, he questions Eto of her goal. Eto explains her motive of wanting to change the world which in turn interests Arima into conspiring with her, taking the title of One-Eyed King.
Born into the Washuu Clan, Rize was the illegitimate daughter of former CCG chairman Tsuneyoshi Washuu, where, as a child, she escaped from the clan and organization V.
Touka Kirishima
Before their separation, the two were often together, Ayato would follow her much of everywhere she would go.
Ichika Kaneki (金木 一花, Kaneki Ichika) is the daughter of Ken Kaneki and Touka Kirishima who appears in the finale of Tokyo Ghoul:re.
Kaneki at the end of tokyo Ghoul loses his memories when Arima stabs him in the eye (ouch).
The same way Kaneki connected with his biological father. Arima even gives him his new name "Haise", and his new identity as a CCG Investigator, essentially giving Kaneki a new life. At this point, Arima has become a pseudo-father figure to Kaneki, something which he has lacked his entire life.
At the end of the Tokyo Ghoul manga Kaneki fights and loses to Kishiou Arima.
Did Kousei's mom abuse him?
A young Kousei is shown with bruises and welts on his arm, and is later shown being publicly abused by his mother as she slaps him and beats him with her cane.
Years later, Kousei Arima married his childhood friend Tsubaki, having a daughter with her, and had followed a path of becoming an elite surgeon, having a 99.99% success rate under his belt, saving countless of lives.
Kaori Miyazono
Although Kousei had never met Kaori before, Kaori and her parents had always admired him since they first saw him perform. Kaori took up playing the violin hoping to perform with Kousei one day. Throughout their time together, they had many instances in which Kousei slowly gained feelings for Kaori.
Takahiko Arima (有馬孝彦, Arima Takahiko?) is a character appearing in the Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso series. He is the husband of Saki Arima and the father of Kousei Arima.

10 Ken Kaneki
Unsurprisingly, Ken ended up marrying Touka, another ghoul that took care of him in the beginning. The two had one child together, a young girl named Ichika, that looks just like her father. Despite being half-ghoul, Ichika appears to be a normal little girl and even has the ability to eat human food.
How did Kaneki become Haise Sasaki? Kaneki at the end of tokyo Ghoul loses his memories when Arima stabs him in the eye (ouch). When they rehabilitate him, Kaneki as a memory loss patient doesn't want to be Kaneki again because of all the bad memories. So he dons a new persona as Haise Sasaki.

Touka suffers from ornithophobia. This may have stemmed from caring for a bird when she was a child only to be pecked near her right eye that she then covers with a hair bang.
