Can Ukraine sink Russian ships in Black Sea?
Between the ballistic and anti-ship missiles and airborne and seaborne drones, the Ukrainian armed forces have plenty of ways of sinking Russian ships. The Black Sea Fleet isn't safe in the western Black Sea.

KHARKIV, Ukraine—Ukraine on Monday said it sank two Russian naval vessels in the Black Sea and a Russian missile attack killed civilians in Odessa, while the European Union was set to propose a ban on Russian oil over Moscow's invasion.
The naval forces consist of five components – surface forces, submarine forces, naval aviation, coastal rocket-artillery and naval infantry. As of 2022, the Ukrainian navy had 15,000 personnel, including 6,000 naval infantry.
According to the Military Balance 2021, quoted in Kyiv Independent, Russia has over 10,000 battle tanks in storage, mainly T-72s and T-80s. However, years of neglect and poor storage conditions (not to mention corruption and theft) means that many of the vehicles have been cannibalized to keep the others running.

The Northern Fleet's headquarters and main base are located in Severomorsk, Murmansk Oblast, with secondary bases elsewhere in the greater Kola Bay area.
So why can't the US Navy can't send an Aircraft Carrier into the Black Sea to protect Romania and NATO merchant ships or help Ukraine? According to a UN Treaty, they are too big and heavy.
The service operates six fleet submarines (SSNs), of the Trafalgar and Astute classes (with two further Astute-class boats currently under construction), and four ballistic missile submarines (SSBN), of the Vanguard class. All of these submarines are nuclear powered.
